Full-body MRI scan

The full-body MRI scan is designed to provide information that will improve your health in a number of ways.

Early detection of cancer can increase the chances of survival up to tenfold

  • You get comprehensive information about the state of your organs
  • We are able to detect early-stage cancers and other anomalies harmful to your health
  • We are able to use the scan to rule out diseases, which will improve your peace of mind by alleviating your health concerns

How the scan is performed:

Contact us by phone or by booking an appointment for an MRI scan.

Complete the health information form either in advance or in the office before the scan.

Undergo the MRI scan you selected.

After the scan, Visio Magneettikuvaus’ MRI specialists issue radiological opinions and a summary of the findings. The Visio+ and Visio Supreme packages include a phone appointment with our general practitioner to go over your results with you.

Full-body MRI has become more common in Europe

Technological advances in magnetic resonance imaging, the use of artificial intelligence applications and, in particular, the need for preventive health services have contributed to the rise of whole-body MRI in Europe in the coming years.

Whole-body MRI is still new in Finland. In Visio Magneettikuvaus, we want to emphasise the need for research from the perspective of preventive health care.

More certainty about your health

Cancer cases continue to increase year by year, but today half of all cancer patients can be cured. The earlier cancer can be detected and identified, the greater the chance of a full recovery.

However, conventional preventive medical screening does not yet make full use of all the medical and technical options available today, such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

Latest imaging technology

MRI is not only useful when a disease has already been identified, but also for ruling out diseases in early stages.

Whole-body MRI provides a painless and radiation-free way to look inside the body reliably and exclude other serious diseases aside from cancer. Advanced imaging technology makes it possible to identify many early-stage cancers long before symptoms appear.
